We made so many memories here and would happily return. The spacious villa was clean, had all the facilities we needed, and the surrounding grounds were well looked after. Since we visited in December, the pool needed heating, but it was worth it. The villa is walkable to a local Spar and the main Anfi Emerald Club, whose staff were always helpful. The main beach is a short drive away, with plenty of parking and taxis available.

We stayed for a week in a three bedroom villa and really liked how it opened onto the pool area through sliding glass doors. There was a sunshade and a small bean shaped pool that the children loved. The pool itself isn't large, but it's very nice. The villa was spacious, with an en-suite for each bedroom, an extra toilet by the living room, and garage parking for two vehicles underneath. There are two entrances, one from the car park via a circular staircase and another front entrance with a few steps. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a dishwasher, washer, dryer, iron and boards, plus hairdryers in every bedroom. The air conditioning wasn't great and the hot water took a while to come through, but those were minor issues. The hotel restaurant was good and the staff were lovely. On check-in and check-out days, guests can use the hotel's huge pool and kids' area, with towels, lockers, and showers provided.

The quiet location by Tauro Golf Club is a real plus. The detached villas are set close together but screened from one another, and they're spacious, well laid out, and suitable for six adults or a large family. Each has three good sized bedrooms, two doubles and one with single beds, all en-suite, plus a large lounge and open kitchen. Outside there's a small garden with artificial turf, a table, loungers, and a small pool. The resort has two restaurants, one at the hotel and one by the entrance, and a small Spar for daily needs. Mogan Mall is a short five minute drive away. Key handover was smooth, and reception is staffed during the day. Our holiday was good, though the stay could have been better. Noisy neighbours held poolside parties into the evening for part of our visit. One nearby villa seemed to be rented to six teenagers without adults for a weekend, and the same Spanish club music blared all day. The property also seems to be showing its age, perhaps without an upgrade for about ten years. It has what you need, but some things weren't working. The pool paint was peeling, though managers said it didn't need repainting. The TVs didn't work for our entire two week stay because of a 'local issue', and the microwave was so old its labels had rubbed off and it was impossible to use. The managers were off-hand and unhelpful when we raised the problems. Our booking agents were excellent and stepped in to communicate with them. A replacement microwave was offered, but after the managers had already been in and out trying to fix the TV, we decided to get on with our holiday. The booking agent also said the resort owners would offer a discount for another stay, but the managers never mentioned it, so it seemed they didn't mean it. The villas are lovely, but need an upgrade to justify the price. There are newer golf villas nearby that offer better value. The managers' attitude made a difference when things went wrong, and they fell short, so I can only give three stars. A shame, though we still had a good holiday. Gran Canaria grew on us and we're planning five or six weeks next year, just not at this resort.

The villa was fantastic, and really spacious. A stunning place.

Beautiful, luxurious, and secure. Absolutely perfect, I couldn't recommend it more.
