We loved the setting, especially the sunset, landscape, and beach views from up high, and how close it was to the Europa centre. The walk down to the beach follows a steep winding road, then you have to climb back up. I enjoyed doing it a few times, but once the heat reached 30°C and with two kids, we switched to taxis after a few days. They were only €5-6 each way. A taxi to or from the airport was about €75 each way. We had a budget-friendly stay in late October to early November. The hotel was busy but not too busy, and check-in was quick enough. We hadn't known about the €100 deposit per room, payable by card only. The rooms were nice enough and cleaned almost every day. I think the sheets and towels were changed three times over seven days, which was good. WiFi was only available at reception, not in the rooms, by the pool, or in the restaurant. The pool and its area were cleaned each morning. The all-inclusive meals were great, with plenty to choose from and themed evenings including Italian, Canarian, English, Mexican, and Chinese. I loved the food every night. We had entertainment on four nights, and it was enough to get people enjoying themselves. It finished by 9 pm, food ended around 9 pm, and all-inclusive drinks stopped at 10:30. For a later night, the Europa centre is a short walk away, with reasonably cheap drinks and food, plus entertainment or sports until very late. The one thing I missed at the hotel was a little light music around the pool and bar.
