Balcon de Amadores

I love this town, the beach, and the paradise island. It's a four-hour flight from Dublin, Ireland, and there's everything you need within walking distance along the beach. It's accessible for all ages, whether you're with family or friends. In more than 25 years, I've never seen any trouble here. That's my two cents. Enjoy your stay.

The location is great, with an easy 10-minute walk to the Europa Centre for food, drinks, and shopping. We drove to the beach, though you can walk there too. The pool area was well maintained, check-in and checkout were easy, and the shower was lovely. The bed was really comfortable, and we had a lovely stay in a comfortable apartment. A few things need attention. The breakfast bar surface is lifting in places and is impossible to clean properly, so it needs replacing. The living room light fitting is loose and needs securing to the ceiling. We covered the worn, discoloured sofa with the throw provided. The bathroom towels were past their best and should be replaced. It's a lovely place, just in need of a bit of care.

February 2020, Apartment 214. We came back after enjoying our last visit so much, and not much has changed. The location is still central, with amazing views down to the beach. Both apartments were great, but we preferred the one overlooking the pool. I imagine those rooms don't get much sun early in the year. Apartments 01-06 overlook the pool, while 07-14 don't. September 2018, Apartment 305. That view! 💕 The apartments were lovely and quiet, with amazing views over Amadores beach and beyond. There was a good range of restaurants about 200m away at the shopping centre, an easy walk. The pool was clean and had enough loungers. Getting back up from the beach is quite a climb, so I'd suggest a 4€ taxi unless you're super fit. A great location all in all.

The one-bedroom apartment had fantastic views and was very clean, with everything needed to cook inside or relax on the balcony. The walk-in shower was great. Restaurants and a supermarket are close by, and you can take a bus or taxi to the beaches.
