Cala Blanca by Diamond Resorts

A heads-up for families: public parking is about 1 km downhill, so it's worth booking a space through the hotel ahead of time. The walk isn't terrible, just a hassle with kids, bags and groceries every day. The rooms were cozy, clean and well equipped, and the views were amazing. I believe all the rooms have the same ocean view. Staff were friendly, and for the price, it felt like a good deal. We heard some traffic during the day, though it didn't bother us at night. If you need real quiet and stillness, you might want to look elsewhere.

We made good use of the hotel's shuttle to mogan and porto rico, which was fantastic. Getting down the hill to the beach takes a bit of a walk, but that was fine for us. I don't usually write reviews, but we loved our stay. I came with my partner and our two teens, and all we wanted was to relax. The pool area was spotless, the views incredible, and the staff friendly. We enjoyed the food too and had a perfect holiday. Our room was big enough for four, with a clean, well-equipped kitchen and a really spacious balcony overlooking the beach. We'd definitely come back.

We hired a car and would highly recommend doing that. Parking is very limited, though, so try to reserve a space before you arrive. We also enjoyed the happy hour drinks each day and liked being close to Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan. We'd hoped for a quiet, laid-back family break at Club Cala Blanca, and that's just what we got over half-term. My husband, our two teens and I had a wonderful holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful, the deep pool had loads of loungers, and our apartment had plenty of room for four. We spent time relaxing on the huge patio and having breakfast there each morning. We tried the on-site restaurant once and thought the meal was good. We hope to return soon.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their suggestions for places to visit. We also had excellent meals at local restaurants in Taurito, Mogan, Puerto Rico and Mas Palomas, as well as at the restaurant at Cala Blanca. We spent two wonderful weeks at Cala Blanca. The living room was spacious, with a large TV and dining area, and the bedroom had a big double bed with plenty of room and another large TV. The full kitchen included a dishwasher and a huge fridge freezer. Our room also had a huge balcony with a sea view, sun beds, and a table and chairs where we had breakfast every morning. The afternoon sun made it perfect for relaxing and sunbathing in privacy, and we could watch the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Thanks to everyone for making the stay so fantastic and memorable.
