This is my favourite of the Anfi resorts. It's closest to the plaza, promenade and shops, and the apartment was huge, with immaculate decor, a great balcony and full facilities in every room. Maid service was spot on, the gardens were immaculate, and the pool area was fabulous with no hassle over sunbeds. This year my place was right above the plaza, so I could watch Benito & Bonita entertaining the children every night. The checkout sales ping at the Spar annoyed me at first, but I soon got used to it. I'm still not keen on the ladies' courtesy room because it can get slippery. The reception staff and porters were fabulous as always.

I didn't really like it, to be fair. The atmosphere wasn't great, and it felt like a timeshare place where the stay is cheap but food and shopping are very expensive. The sales reps were nice, though they did try to draw you into the timeshare business. It's okay if you want to chill out around lots of people every day.

The friendly, helpful staff, immaculate room, lovely pools and magnificent gardens are what I love about Anfi. We don't spend much time in the room, and the Anfi experience brings this review up to four stars. This was our first time at Puerto Anfi, though, and our room was right over the restaurants. The balcony was so noisy we couldn't even watch TV, let alone read lips. Loud music and drunk Englishmen singing Sweet Caroline carried on until 2300. Closing the door didn't solve it. The doors wouldn't latch, and we could still hear everything. When it was windy, we even felt gusts while lying in bed. Catastrophic. The room deserves minus stars; the cleanliness and apparently renewed furniture are the only reasons I'd give it one. The bathroom fixtures are old. Turning on the water felt like my fingers were being cut, and the shower kept switching between ice cold and burning hot every few seconds. Not worthy of an otherwise great resort. We won't return to Puerto Anfi. Anfi Beach Club all the way, 10000 times better, even though it's older.

We stayed in apartment 315 at Club Puerto Anfi through RCI. It was listed as a "restricted view" but had an excellent view. The one-bedroom apartment worked for our family of four, with a sofa bed for the children. It had a bathroom, kitchen with microwave and hob, full fridge/freezer and washing machine. Washing powder, dishwasher tablets and beach towels were provided. There was free WiFi in the apartment, and once logged in, it worked around the resort. We mostly used data. We could use all the Anfi resort pools. The Club Puerto pool had a cave, slide and jacuzzi; the Beach pool had two caves and a longer slide. Gran and Monte had no caves. There was a lifeguard on duty. The free Kids Club had excellent activities for ages 6 and up, from midday to 4pm on the hour, including hoopla, darts, bowling and art. The top three got certificates, and a t-shirt was awarded after three certificates. For kids 11 and up, activities such as archery, kayaking and football ran at 11am and 5pm. There was a mini-disco on the beachfront at 7pm. Parents had to stay within the compound, around the pool, for Kids Club. Parking at Club Puerto cost €9.70/day. There was free parking nearby or if you were staying in Anfi Beach. The on-site Spar was more expensive than UK Waitrose, though it had fruit, vegetables, freshly cooked bread each day, organic packaged goods and frozen items. It was open 8am-10pm. At the beach, sunbeds cost eur 40 per day for the big ones, but towels on the sand were allowed. The water was calm, and you could rent pedalos with water slides. We found the beach announcements hilarious. A recorded voice periodically said "NO PArties, No BAll Games, If you disrespect these rules we will call the police! We clean the beach at 8pm, we start closing the beach at 6pm!" By the end of the holiday, we were playing ball in the sea and didn't get arrested. We liked Maroa Beach, with its swings, and Helamore ice cream. Helamore had good live music every night, which you could also hear from your balcony if you preferred. Stalls were set up along the front on certain nights, with modest prices. There's also a dive centre and high-end bar with plunge pools on the island. Beyond Gran Anfi there's an 18 hole crazy golf course. We didn't try it, but it looked amazing.

Our daughter still loves the mini club, and everyone had a great stay. We were in 820 Peurto. The room was very clean and had lots of good features, though the hot tub had seen better days and some of the decorating needed attention. Just little things.
