The room was clean and tidy, and not bad. We were told we could check out late, then paid the deposit at 11:30. At 12:30 they told us we could no longer keep the room. Disgraceful.

You’re close to everything in Puerto Rico, including restaurants, shops and the beach. It feels more like apartamentos than a hotel because there aren’t many services, but it has nearly everything you need. The rooms are kept clean to a basic standard, not especially well but definitely enough. Everyone working there was friendly, and the hotel even has a couple of regular cat visitors! We asked for soap for washing our hands and bodies, but they only had dish soap, so remember to bring your own.

Fresh bread delivered to your door each morning was fantastic. It’s a clean hotel with good value, friendly staff and restaurants and a shopping center not far away. The sheets weren’t changed often during our longer stay, and sometimes shower water leaked into the living room.

We won’t be coming back. The place was so noisy and disruptive that we had to go out all day, every day, to get away from it. Guests and their children were shouting and dive-bombing into the pool until 10:30 pm, even though it closes at 7 pm. It was right beside our ground-floor room with an open balcony, and made it impossible to enjoy a quiet pool day. We arrived close to 11 pm and found the apartment door had a code, but no one had sent it to us. We had no Wi-Fi code either, or any other information. One evening we asked reception for a taxi number or help getting a cab, and were told, “sorry,” they didn’t have a taxi number there, only in Maspalomas. Unbelievable. They also tried to charge us for the stay a second time, although we’d paid two months earlier. It was one of the noisiest, most disruptive holidays I’ve had.
