Golden Beach Puerto de Mogan

The walk to the shops and beach is flat, which mattered a lot to me, and both are only about 150 metres away. The pool is just a couple of metres from the apartment. We spent two weeks at Golden Beach and Richard had thought of every extra, right down to dressing gowns. I was amazed by how well equipped it was, and I've already booked three more stays with Richard. I'd recommend Golden Beach apartments in Mogan to anyone holidaying in Gran Canaria. The nearby Spar was handy for groceries and other bits, and the beach was about a five-minute walk along flat ground. Restaurants, shops and bars are close by too. We had a relaxing 18 days at Golden Beach 4 on our second visit this year. The apartment was clean and had everything we could want, including a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, plus a comfortable bedroom and lounge. We're already looking forward to coming back next spring.

We came back in October and booked another stay during the same week, which says a lot. Richard was welcoming and easy to reach. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and in a fabulous location. The pool is a good depth for swimming and is now heated. It was especially nice for an early dip before the sun reached it. The heating came on halfway through our stay, so we experienced it both ways. There's also a covered poolside area now, which I found useful.

Richard was a brilliant host, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a parking space, pool towels, beach chairs and a cool box, plus a drinking water tap that was a huge bonus. The kitchen was properly equipped, and the heated pool was fabulous. It's also very close to the beach and bars. Could give it ten stars. We'll be back, so book early.
