We were moved here after our original accommodation was cancelled, and I would never come back. Ants got into everything, even food we put in the microwave, and there seemed to be no effort to deal with them. Gaps in the doors let ants and other bugs keep coming in. The pool was hardly ever cleaned. My daughter got ill after using it on day two, and another family told us their children had been sick too. I mostly saw wild animals using the pool. Leaving was just as bad. The notice on the door said a late room checkout cost €25, but when we asked, they wanted €75 even though we only needed one room for our luggage and for our daughter to rest. We had three rooms booked, but didn't need all three for the extra time. They refused to let us leave our bags in the luggage room unless we paid the full amount. They said no one would be there to let us collect them later, though they live on site. They didn't even know what time our pickup was. We had to leave by noon with a sick child and all our luggage, then find somewhere to wait for five hours until our transfers arrived. There were six of us and nowhere with room for our bags, even at restaurants. It was an awful way to treat customers, and felt purely greedy. Loveholidays were unhelpful too. They've lost our custom. Their reply to my review was ridiculous. It's terrible that a business can't take feedback. They also tracked down my name on social media, which is a very strange thing to do out of desperation. I've posted two Google reviews, and yours was the only bad one. I write honest reviews based on real experiences. I could send you plenty of positive reviews for other hotels we've stayed in, but none was nearly as bad as this. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but instead of arguing, you should fix the problems. You can keep telling people I'm wrong to try to keep bookings, but there are a lot of issues to address. Anyone who's used a microwave knows it isn't sealed, so clearly you haven't used one. Maybe you did give our rooms special attention because we had three, but all three had just as many ants. Pest control never came during our stay to try to sort it out. I also find it hard to believe you could see what was happening throughout our stay when you never set foot on the premises. I was at the hotel most days when my daughter was ill. I saw animals using the pool, and there was rarely anyone else in it. If you think you could see more from off the premises than I could right beside it, I don't know what to say. You still haven't answered my question about checkout. I understand it's €25 per room, or €75 total, but why couldn't we keep just one room to store our luggage? We neither wanted nor needed three. Does your fine print say late checkout requires a minimum of three rooms, no matter how many you've booked? That's ludicrous. Your staff member came into my room while my husband was away, just after I'd got out of the shower. I was standing there in a towel, yet he was the one who felt uncomfortable? I can almost guarantee your attempt to play the “racial” card and make me look like a bad person is untrue. It's worrying you'd stoop that low, and says a lot about your character. Every negative review gets an unhelpful, sarcastic response. If you can't accept criticism, put effort into fixing the problems or reconsider this business. Best of luck.
