Mirador del Mar Villas

The house itself was large enough for seven, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The view from the front yard was amazing. The pool wasn’t heated but was okay, and we had a comfortable week there. Some things are old and could do with changing, but I’ve stayed in worse places at twice the nightly price. It’s far from the center and beach, though with a car everything is 7-10 minutes away. Getting in was awful. We arrived at the villa at 3:00 in the morning after 15 hours of travel to Canaria, only to find that the lockbox code they gave us was wrong. After several calls, they said to wait. They were asleep, and no one seemed concerned that we were stuck outside a villa we’d already paid for. Two hours and more calls later, they messaged us to squeeze the box. 🤣🤣🤣 We spent the night in the front yard, with our four-year-old asleep in a chair. We waited until noon, nine hours in the yard, before discovering that they’d given us the code for a different villa. They finally found the right code at 12:45, and we got into the house. They did refund the night.
