Palm Suites

The balconies have only a low wall between adjoining apartments, so there's no privacy. The website description also didn't match what we actually got: the Superior APARTMENT was advertised with a double day bed on the balcony, a second TV in the bedroom, and a dining area, but none of those were there. The laundry facilities listed online weren't available either.

We stayed at Palm Suites for two nights while visiting friends on holiday in Gran Canaria. The apartment was spotless, and the welcome package in the fridge with beer, water, and cava was a lovely touch. It's up a steep hill, which is a bit of a killer, but no big deal since there are plenty of reasonably priced taxis. If we come back to Puerto Rico, I'll definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work.

We stayed at Palm Suites in March 2025 and had a lovely time, largely thanks to Satti. When we found cockroaches in our room, she couldn't move us immediately because the complex was full, but arranged for us to switch to an upstairs apartment as soon as one was available. She also sorted out our airport transfer and mailed my partner's glasses after we left them behind. Our stay last month didn't feel the same. The rooms are lovely, but we really missed Satti's wonderful hospitality.

The apartments felt impersonal, and getting help was difficult. We arrived two hours before the 3 pm check-in and asked about paying for an early room or somewhere safe to leave our luggage, but nobody offered assistance. The WhatsApp numbers didn't reply until the next day. No one spoke to us in Spanish, even though it's the country's main language. Rooms were OK, but there were charges for things like the safe, toilet paper and water. The messages in the room could be confusing about what was included. The pool was fairly small.
