The Christmas gala dinner was the highlight for me. The menu was superb, the dishes carefully prepared, and the service was well organized and efficient, which made the evening feel special but relaxed. I loved the singer! Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with a good bed. Everything seemed well maintained, and breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. Staff were friendly and professional from reception through to the restaurant, especially Salah. We had a very enjoyable stay, the hotel met our expectations, and it offers excellent value. We'll be back!

Servatur Casablanca in Gran Canaria feels like our ‘Casa Española’. This was our eighth visit, and everyone welcomed us back so warmly. Christina and Alberto made our wedding anniversary especially lovely, with champagne and chocolates in our favourite room, 414, and a candlelit dinner. Alberto is the ‘host with the mostest’ in the dining area, always cheerful and welcoming, and keen to make sure everything is right. Thanks for adjusting my menu choices so I could try more dishes! Rueben, Sylvia and Christina feel like family now, and we adore you all. A special thank you to our cleaner. I didn't catch his name because he wasn't wearing his badge, but he was so thorough that you could tell when he'd cleaned the room. Huge thanks to all of you. The location worked well for us, and we had no parking trouble, though the hotel has only a handful of very tight spaces and street parking can be limited. The hill is steep, with 100-200 steps to walk back up, so going into town several times a day can be hard in the heat. Still, it's centrally placed, and you don't need a taxi to get there. Other hotels in the village have worse locations. It was quiet in our room despite the central bar area just downhill, and the old-looking air conditioning worked well enough. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but adequate, and the small pool area had enough sunbeds. The hotel is on the sunny side of the valley, so our balcony got sun all day, perhaps enough to skip the pool. We had a mixed stay. The marketing photos didn't match reality, though the experience was okay. I'd stay again if I had no other option, but there are better places. Like a lot of Canary Islands hotels, it felt worn and old, with small broken things, very dated details and areas that looked dirty up close. Nothing major was wrong, but it badly needs a full renovation. The spa was a joke, with paint literally falling from the ceiling into the pool. The gym felt hazardous too, with no real air conditioning and a temperature around 30C. WiFi was extremely poor in our corner room, and there was nothing we could do about it. Compared with the better high-class resorts on the islands, this is more of a local standard. It's okay if you keep your expectations modest and get a reasonable price, around 100€ a night.

This was our second year staying here, and we were on the eighth floor this time. The views were fabulous, my husband loved the whirlpool bath on the balcony, and we enjoyed breakfast every morning. All the staff are brilliant, and it's a great hotel. The spa matters to us, though, and that's the main downside. It needs work: the sauna wasn't hot enough, and the metal beds in the spa pool need cleaning. That's why I'm giving it four stars.
