It was a two-star hotel, just as listed and what we expected. Once you're ready for all the steps needed to get around, the location is good for bars, food and the beach. There was no air conditioning, which was unbearable, though you can hire fans. The pool was clean, but balls and inflatables weren't allowed, so it was really just somewhere to cool off.

It's a great hotel, though the location is a bit hilly. Getting there is easy, and a taxi should cost €4.25. Watch out for drivers taking the long route, though. Ask for the short route when you get in, or you might be charged €8.50. Some are rip-off merchants. One tip: if your room is in a row near the first corridor from reception, don't assume being close to the shop is a bonus. The lift noise is horrendous at night, from the motor to the doors opening and closing. There's constant coming and going, plus cases rattling down the corridor, so you'll be awake all night.

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were really friendly, and the food was very nice and well priced. Great location, too. We'll definitely be back.

The views are incredible, but the rooms are just okay and the service wasn't what I expected. Air conditioning costs extra. There's no games room or restaurant; the only place to eat at the hotel is a terrace by the pool. The shop inside the hotel closes at 17.00.

We missed the bus at night and ended up stuck in Puerto Rico. Luckily we could book a room at the last minute for a great price. It was such a pleasant surprise to wake up in a beautiful, spacious room and have a dip in the pool.
