The room was spacious and very clean, and staff were generally helpful. But checking in took 20 minutes in a very slow queue. Our room wasn’t ready, though after lunch it was available at about 2pm. We were above the entertainment area, so the singers were very loud until around 11pm. The food was reasonable, but table service for drinks was slow, and a few times I got my own. On a couple of lunchtimes there was hardly anything available. One day there was no hot food, just very dry sandwiches and salad. It’s not a bad hotel, but some areas could be better. They may need more staff when the restaurant is busy.

We had a great, relaxing week and slept really well in the big room with its comfortable bed. There were plenty of activities, but it was still quiet enough to unwind most of the time. I especially liked the canvas and cava session, the wine tasting and making a hand scrub. The sunsets were stunning, and the food was good. Veggie choices could be limited at weekends, though I always found something to eat. Sometimes meat or fish was mixed into salads and bean dishes even when cold meats and fish were already available. Leaving those ingredients separate would make the dishes work for more dietary needs and let people add them if they wanted. We enjoyed the holiday and would come back for another relaxing visit.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and although some didn’t speak much English, they always did their best, which we appreciated. The balcony was the highlight of our five-day stay, with beautiful views and lovely sunrises and sunsets. The hotel needs renovation, especially the bathroom, which looked very old-fashioned. The cocktails were too sweet and didn’t have much flavour. We’ve travelled widely around Europe, including staying at cheaper three-star hotels, and many served better drinks and had cleaner rooms. Finding a cockroach in the shower on our last day was unacceptable. We also had a 04:00 checkout, but there was no early breakfast, snack or takeaway option, which would have been appreciated. Great views and lovely staff, but the hotel needs work on the renovation, cleanliness, bar quality and guest services.

The staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient, and always available if we needed help. There was entertainment every night in both bars, and plenty to do throughout the day. Food and drink were available all day in different locations, with good variety and quality. There were lots of poolside sunbeds, and the pool area was spotless. The rooms were good, though a little tired. We loved the balconies, each with its own sunbeds and a table for two. I’d highly recommend the resort.
