A pleasant rustic hotel right in town, with good service and a large spa area.

We only had lunch there. The food was poor in quality and expensive, and the service was poor too.

It’s disappointing that a town as lovely as Mogaraz has a four-star spa hotel that doesn’t live up to the rating. The advertising gives guests the wrong idea, and the place urgently needs renovation. The rooms are in terrible shape, with a tiny wardrobe, bed, and bathroom. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and there were no spare items in the wardrobe. The spa was mediocre and didn’t work properly. Dinner and breakfast were only okay. There wasn’t any ham in the area, and the bread was awful and frozen, even though bread in these towns is usually delicious. I’d stayed here many times and wanted to give it another chance, being from Salamanca, despite the negative reviews I’d read. Sadly, those reviews were right. Isabel at reception was pleasant, and that was the one small bright spot.
