Hotel Plaza Escribano

The staff were friendly and the rooms were adequate, but a few things could be better. Our room was missing two hand towels and toilet paper, and the air conditioning had just one setting. Parking can also be an issue if you haven’t booked ahead. In the morning, there was a strange smell in the hotel corridors and around the town generally.

The price was acceptable, and the room was good. The hotel’s surroundings are lovely, and it’s central, close to everything important in Moguer.

The room was comfortable and convenient, and the hotel is well situated near the center. Reception were very friendly and helpful, and explained what there was to see and do. I’d recommend staying here.

The hotel is beautiful, but the maintenance was terrible, if there even is a maintenance service. When we arrived, nobody was at reception and we waited about ten minutes. A very friendly young woman eventually came. We later found out she was the only employee, and she was also handling maintenance and working in the laundry. Our room door wouldn’t shut, so she came to see if she could fix it. She ended up moving us to another room, but that window wouldn’t close properly either because it was missing a latch. She was incredibly kind, but the poor woman was on her own.
