The resort and our room were really clean, and we loved being right across from a beautiful beach with shops and restaurants close by. Having a supermarket on site was handy for self-catering, and the lively animation team made our daughter’s first holiday fun. It was mainly aimed at Spanish guests, but joining in was easy. The downsides were the very long check-in queue, even though the staff were pleasant and helpful, and missing kitchen utensils when we wanted to cook. The fire alarm also went off while we were cooking on the first night, just as our baby was asleep.

We loved the three pools, which worked well for adults and kids, and the animation team kept things lively. The hotel was spotless and the service was impeccable. The food had loads of variety and was delicious, with something for every taste. Best of all, the clean beach with crystal-clear water is right opposite. We had a fantastic stay, beyond what we expected, and highly recommend it.

The location is the one thing this place has going for it. Otherwise, the apartment was bare, cleanliness seemed optional, and the air conditioning barely worked, though it did make a noise. There was just one toilet roll for five people. We waited an hour and a half to check in and finally got our room at 4:30pm. The staff member who helped us was friendly, but forgot to give us the keycard that powers the room, so we had to queue all over again. The bars weren’t much better. Staff seemed unhappy to be there, and service was slow, miserable, and almost rude. Would I go back? Only if I lost a bet.

We were disappointed with how differently the rules seemed to apply to different guests. We were asked to stop playing pool 15 minutes before closing so the table could be covered, while Spanish guests were allowed to finish their game. Several times, we were also told “for you not possible” when asking for simple things. That included a jug of sangria an hour before the all-inclusive ended, and a taxi booking to the airport. Reception told us to arrange it ourselves, although we’d seen them book a taxi for other guests the previous day. There was just one bar open for what must have been close to a thousand people, including large groups of Spanish university students and families. The queues were ridiculous, service was slow, and staff seemed irritated whenever we approached, making us feel awkward and unwelcome. The restaurant was what you’d expect from a budget all-inclusive, but the food hygiene was still poor. Labels were often missing or wrong, and we saw the same utensils used for raw chicken and squid and for cooked food like noodles and meat. If you have allergies or dietary requirements, avoid this place. Our room was mediocre. During our 7 day stay, the beds were made and towels changed only twice. Basic service and cleanliness standards didn’t seem to be met. We wouldn’t return or recommend it, especially if you don’t speak Spanish or expect fair, consistent service.
