Aside from the beds, things were fine, though nothing special. The apartment was fairly clean and had an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, kitchen utensils, toaster, coffee maker, and other basics. But it’s very old, and the mattresses and bed frames were so old that the beds were unbearable and incredibly noisy. The pillows were just as old and uncomfortable. We were on an organized tour and had no choice, but we wouldn’t come back.

The location is handy if you’re here for nightlife, with everything close by. The apartments themselves are dirty and very old. The owner doesn’t answer calls, and if something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Even if you call her, she won’t call back the next day. With service like that, it’s no surprise they don’t ask for a deposit. There’s air conditioning only in the living room, and no fan at all in the bedrooms, so sleeping is out of the question. The sofa bed is the only thing that might save you. Not recommended at all.

Having stayed in lots of places around Spain, I’d put this among the worst I’ve come across. Sure, some are worse, but this one is truly awful. I won’t go into every detail. It seems geared toward groups of young people heading to the clubs in Mojácar, for whom the accommodation may be the least important part. Even for that kind of stay, I wouldn’t recommend it: the fridge is small, won’t fit many bottles, and doesn’t keep things cold.

The service and communication were the only good parts. It’s a resort for young partygoers and incredibly noisy, something they should mention for people who want to rest. The pool was awful, small, with no shade and scorching concrete around it. The whole resort is in very poor condition and needs maintenance. I killed four cockroaches the size of mice in the apartment, along with a few spiders. Regular insecticide spraying wouldn’t cost much. The location works if you drive everywhere, but walking is hard with the hills and heat. They say there’s parking, yet the car is left on the sidewalk, exposed to scrapes and bumps, with barely enough room to get past. I wouldn’t recommend it.
