Hotel Best Indalo

I hate staying here. At every meal and every day, there are at least two or three little kids yelling, so there’s no chance to enjoy a quiet moment. They poop in the pool and spoil the whole experience. If you don’t have young kids of your own, you’ll hate it. I also don’t understand why people with no connection to the hotel are allowed to use the pool and smoke there when it’s not allowed. Nobody seems to check who comes onto the property. Just today, we saw two couples who weren’t staying here on the pool sunbeds. Anyone can apparently walk in and head to the pool or bar.

The garden and pools are fantastic, and there are sports courts too. The restaurant was clean despite being crowded, and the food was really tasty. The beach is very close and beautiful, and the staff were helpful, though they could hardly understand English. We booked through a travel agency in 2025 for four people, but only two of us got regular single beds. The other two had to use a noisy, really uncomfortable sofa bed. I also found the pillows uncomfortable, though reception can provide another mattress and extra pillows if you ask. You can hear noise from inside the room, and it didn’t look like the pictures.

We’re here right now and can’t believe some of the bad reviews. It’s a good choice if you want a laid-back break. The food is good, the pool is wonderful, and there’s a beautiful beach just across the road. The flat promenade goes on and on, with clean, friendly bars along the way. Most people speak Spanish, but we are in Spain, after all. If you can’t be bothered to learn please and thank you, go to Blackpool. We’ll definitely come back.

Everything else was bang on, with a lovely hotel, a fantastic pool, and plenty of sun loungers. But the pull-out second bed was by far the worst bed I’ve ever slept in and needs improving. We stayed self-catering, two adults and two children, and the bin lorries came to collect everything right outside our windows from around 1 a.m. until 2:15, so we couldn’t sleep before they finished. The entertainment was aimed at Spanish speakers, with little effort to include English, which upset the kids because they couldn’t join in.
