Hotel Mamabels

We spent five nights here and would happily come back. The hotel is right in the heart of Mojacar, and our bright room had a large terrace with beautiful views. It was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and our nights were peaceful with no noise from outside. Carlos was a charming, helpful host who knew the area well, and we enjoyed chatting with him over the varied, delicious breakfasts he made each morning.

The restaurants were very good, friendly, and reasonably priced, and we had a great weekend. The host was warm and welcoming and really couldn't do more for us. Our immaculate room had a little seating area and great views. The hotel has steep sections on its side, but plenty of charm and character. The town itself is built on a hill, so expect steep slopes and lots of stairs. Some streets are too narrow for cars. There are lots of places to sit along the way, and we managed fine, but this isn't for anyone with walking difficulties. If you can handle the climbs, it's worth a trip.

The views were amazing, and the location puts you close to everything in town. Carlos made both check-in and check-out easy, and served a delicious breakfast. We had a memorable vacation and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Each morning we woke up to watch the sunrise from the balcony, which had a perfect view. Breakfast was great, with fresh products and a different handmade cake each day. We had crepes on our last morning. The room was quiet, and there's free parking down the hill. We can't thank our host enough, and hope to see you again soon, Carlos!
