The breakfast was amazing, and the beds were so comfortable. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and have everything you need, plus a little extra. Jose and Mara made me feel welcome from the first phone call and were happy to help with anything. The place is lovely too, right by a beautiful church and close to everything in town. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I slept great in the comfortable accommodations, even after a beautiful lightning show. Breakfast was wonderfully prepared, and the Brazilian communal dinner was the best, shared with lovely people and full of food made with love. The location in this sweetest little town is fantastic. Highly recommend.

The homemade food is delicious, and the owners are genuinely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I believe they’d do their best to meet whatever you need. If I ever return to the Camino, I’d absolutely stay at Hostal Casa San Nicolas again. Highly recommend!

The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and I slept peacefully in a really comfortable bed. Mara and Jose are such gracious hosts. Dinner was a generous spread of homemade Brazilian food, just right for a hungry Pilgrim, and breakfast the next morning was spectacular. Muchos gracias, Mara & Jose!

We played guitar, sang, and took sunset photos, and the family-style meals were incomparable. This is the best albergue ever, with a beautiful setting, a lovely homey feel, comfortable beds, soft towels, and clean sheets.
