The included breakfast was lovely, and this was a sweet, quaint place to stay before the arduous walk to Villafranca. The old town charm, its lovely older woman who runs the place, and the proximity to better dining options and the town centre were all nice. We did have a small problem opening the main door, which had been dead-bolted behind us. We had to call out to another hotel guest whose window happened to be open. Recommend!

The hostess doesn’t speak a word of English, but you understand her straight away. The welcome was very warm and the rooms are excellent. It’s on a bit of a back street, but still in the centre and close to the cafes. Molinaseca is a very nice town.

The common rooms are excellent, and there’s a great kitchen with a fireplace. The rooms are clean and a decent size, and the manager is very nice. I stayed two nights while walking the Camino, and it was a great spot for a rest day. Highly recommend.

The private room was nice and felt like much better value than what I paid. I didn’t see anyone else, and the place felt a bit spooky, like it belonged to another time. That just isn’t my taste.
