The room was clean and beautiful, with mountain views and fresh flowers from their garden. This lovely casa rural felt like staying with family. I arrived banged up after falling on the descent into El Acebo, and the owners looked after me from the moment I came in, bringing tea and cakes and dressing my wounds. They also said they wouldn't charge me if I decided to leave and go home. The kindest people. Highly recommended!

The host was really friendly, and I enjoyed my stay so much I would've liked another day, but the Camino was calling. After a long, cold walk I came in to a hot tea, and the room was nice and warm.

A cute, clean, and nice place. The breakfast was really nice too.

Such a lovely break from the track. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shower was hot and strong. Best pillows I've had so far on our Camino, wonderfully comfortable.

Several weeks on, this is still one of my favorite stays from the Camino. The accommodation is homey and lovely, with amazing views, but the owner's kindness and generosity made it especially memorable. They did far more than we could have expected. I can't recommend La Truche enough.
