Valentin was extremely kind and helpful, both with the lodging and with recommendations and advice about Mondoñedo and the rest of the area. The rooms were clean and spacious, and there’s an elevator to the upper floors. It’s a quiet area, about a 5-minute walk from the mayor square and the cathedral, with parking available. The house itself is an old nobility house, nicely rebuilt and maintained, with a lot of history under its roof.

We were a group of 11 adults and 4 children, and the host made sure we had everything we needed. There was water, milk, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, and more, and every last detail was taken care of. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. They’d even switched on the heating the day before, so it was warm when we arrived. The hospitality was exceptional, and the host was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had an unbeatable stay and will definitely come back!

The apartments are spacious, very clean, and great overall. There’s an iron, coffee maker, cutlery, and a TV in the living room and master bedroom, but none in the twin bedroom. The master bedroom also has its own bathroom. My only complaint is about the double bedroom: above its shuttered windows are small uncovered windows, so the light woke us at dawn. Still, highly recommended.
