We found the house spotless and thoughtfully restored, with everything we needed, plus parking on site and a barbecue. Ana looked after us so well that the whole stay felt easy. It’s a lovely base for seeing northern Galicia, and the setting is wonderfully quiet.

Félix, his wife, his sister Ana, and the rest of the family and staff were incredibly welcoming. The house itself is striking, all stone and wood, and so peaceful that it felt like we were deep in the “witches’ forest.” Just kidding. The road could use some work, and I wouldn’t come back because it’s so remote, though the place is idyllic.

We had perfect weather for an unforgettable break in nature. It was such a relaxing place, and the owners and staff gave us excellent service.

The quiet here is exactly what you come for. The facilities are comfortable and have almost everything you need. There’s no washing machine or dishwasher, which fits with the eco-sustainable approach. It’s also easy to reach, and Irixoa is nearby if you need to pick up supplies.
