We came as several couples with young children for a long weekend and had a great time. The place and the house are beautiful, with a cozy fireplace in the dining room, a well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely upstairs sitting room with great views. There are six double rooms, some sleeping three, and each has its own very comfortable bathroom. The owners were friendly too. A couple of small things: the dishwasher is quite old and could use replacing, and a larger group could use a second set of keys. We’d definitely come back!

We had an ideal family and friends getaway here. The views are incredible, and it’s so peaceful, a great place to switch off.

We came with five families and the kids, and would love to return. It’s wonderfully quiet, with no neighbors and spectacular views. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything we needed, including firewood. The owner came to meet us and show us the way after the GPS got lost. The final stretch is a dirt track, but an ordinary car can manage it easily.

We had a wonderful three day stay, even though finding the place was a bit tricky. The owners were extremely helpful and flexible. It’s lovely to have a drink on the quiet terrace, surrounded by nature and feeling far away from everything. There are lots of hiking routes and pretty medieval villages nearby, easy to explore by car or motorbike. Families should find it especially suitable, with roomy spaces, sofas, games, and more.

The drive is paved for part of the way, then continues on a dirt track that’s fine for any vehicle. The surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast is included, with juice, coffee and milk, plant based milk if you prefer, butter and jam, olive oil, and pastries that seemed mostly store bought to me. Their €15 set dinner was really, really good. If herbal liqueur is your thing, give theirs a try. Highly recommend it.
