The gardens were lovely, which made the problems elsewhere a real shame. The hot tub and sauna listed as spa services weren’t working during our trip. There was stale bread and spoiled milk in the fridge, apparently left by the previous guests, and we only noticed the next day. We had just one power socket in the room, and it tripped often. After we left, we tried contacting the hosts through the booking app but got no response.

The breakfast was lovely, with a charming basket and a personal touch waiting for us each morning. We also enjoyed the pretty pool, and the unexpected jacuzzi and sauna were a welcome surprise since we hadn’t realized they were available when booking. There’s a lot of creativity in the decoration, with ordinary objects turned into decorative details. Everything looked beautiful and was kept in excellent condition, with real care for the small things. Alessandro gave us a wonderful welcome and was always thoughtful and attentive. We had a very relaxing stay, and plan to come back next year. I’ll recommend it to my friends.

The location is right by a highway, but it was quiet and easy to stop at. Calella de Palafrugell is less than a 10-minute drive away, with its beach, restaurants, and shops. Inside, the dining room and relaxing room were especially lovely. The room was clean and beautiful too, and the whole hotel is decorated with lots of thoughtful details. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. You can unwind in the relaxing room with the hot tub and sauna, and they provide body treatment products, coffee, tea, essential oils, and nicely prepared towels. Alessandro looked after us well and was friendly and helpful. Such a gorgeous hidden gem, definitely recommended!

The hosts were marvelous, and breakfast was delicious. Along with the wonderful setting, those made for a relaxing stay with touches of a gourmet experience. With no kids or pets around, the atmosphere stayed calm and stress-free for all the guests. It’s one of the best places to stay in the area, if not the best.

Le Rondini has a big garden, parking, and a lovely Ibiza-like pool. It’s a beautiful house inland, about 10 minutes by car from the beach. The owners are kind, funny, and very attentive. Their two dogs are independent and quiet, so they don’t bother guests and you barely notice them. The rooms are spacious, clean, well furnished with a TV, mini-fridge, coffee machine, and other details. Breakfast is abundant and high quality, with both sweet and savory choices. Almost everything, including cake, toast, and eggs, is made that day, and some ingredients are grown at the house in the small orchard behind the main house.
