The camping is out in the middle of nature, with nice hikes nearby and beautiful old villages like Besalu and Castellfollit de la Roca close by. The campsite itself is nice. We didn’t like the food or service at the restaurant, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

The man was very nice, and the reception shop had the usual bits and pieces well stocked. There are lots of facilities, including a swimming pool and restaurant, plus goats and chickens. The site is out in the countryside, with shady gravel pitches, but the camping pitches had no shade and weren’t well maintained. There were so many moths in the men’s bathroom! We only stayed one night but had booked and paid for two. The building and location are lovely, and there’s good potential, but it needs some work.

The pitches are very good, the location is beautiful, and the facilities are perfectly adequate. The only issue is the power supply, which is just 6 amp and could do with an upgrade.
