The food and little personal touches made this stay for me. Montse shifted breakfast earlier when I asked, and even made sure the non-dessert person in me got two plates of butifarra instead of chocolate cake. She also packed the most delicious sandwiches for my hike. I felt at home the whole time, and I loved it so much I wish I could have stayed longer. Montse is a perfect host, and I’ll be back!

The Sadernas area by Can Pei is great for hiking, climbing, and swimming in the river. Back at the place, we found homemade food with vegetarian and vegan options, cozy rooms, and comfortable beds. There’s no AC, but even with it above 27 outside, sleeping at night was totally comfortable. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely. Great place and experience!

The dinners were so delicious, and the animals were adorable and cuddly, especially Xula and the little cat. Montse paid close attention to everyone. The masia felt like an oasis of calm and relaxation. We’ll definitely come back at the first chance we get.

After a long walk, cooling off in the pool was wonderful. Montse also cooked us a delicious dinner and had breakfast and a packed lunch ready in advance so we could leave early the next day. Such a lovely oasis.

We found C'an Pei by chance after our original hotel cancelled, and what a lucky break that was. The wooded mountains and rolling hills were lovely, with birdsong each morning and a generous breakfast to start the day. We looked forward to coming back from exploring for Montse and Cristina’s always-delicious, home-cooked three-course dinner. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. They really went out of their way to make this one of the best Easter trips we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this rural hotel.
