Hotel El Horcajo

The restaurant was cozy, reasonably priced, and served delicious traditional food. The reception and lounge were lovely too, with plenty of sofas and armchairs around a nice log fire. The rooms could use a few small additions, like a chair, more shelf space in the shower, and a bedside rug. They’d take very little to sort out.

Come here for the peace and quiet in the heart of Andalusia. The location is absolutely worth it, though don’t expect much luxury in the rooms. Fantastic place to stay, and breakfast is well taken care of.

The rooms are large and comfortable, and it’s good value for money. It’s a great rural hotel, dog friendly, with a reasonably priced bar and restaurant. They can host functions, or you can just come here to get away from the city.

We held two youth workshops here, and the setting was just right. Vanessa, Libia, and Lilian were wonderful, going out of their way to meet our food requests and make sure halal options were available. Their hospitality made our stay. Hotel El Horcajo is tucked between the mountains and felt like the perfect break for our group during a busy week. There’s loads of outdoor space, a refreshing pool, a big events area, and a charming restaurant terrace under a huge tree. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained, and had working AC. We’d love to come back.
