The tranquility and views are hard to beat, and the short walk up the rural track is worth it. Gina communicated brilliantly before we arrived and welcomed me warmly at this idyllic spot. One thing to know: the Google Maps pin is inaccurate and makes it look like the accommodation is in an urban area, but it’s very remote. Booking sites that say there’s a bar or shop within 100m are wrong, there really isn’t one. The remoteness is a big part of the appeal. The cabin looks like a gypsy caravan, is comfortable and well equipped, and stays impressively cool even in August heat in the high thirties. There’s an a/c unit, but I barely used it. Some of the eco equipment might be unfamiliar, but it all works fine, and the quirks are part of the charm. There’s a hot tub beside a spacious covered pergola with plenty of seating, plus lots of outdoor cooking options, including a BBQ and pizza oven. Great for a small group wanting an alfresco break away from it all.
