Montejaque was one of the real highlights of our three-week trip through southern Spain. We live in Colorado, USA, and had a fabulous stay in this beautiful three-bedroom apartment. It sits in a charming Andalusian village, with a nice mix of rustic feel and modern comfort. All three bedrooms were spacious and thoughtfully decorated, and the cozy beds made mornings hard to get moving. After long hikes in the surrounding hills or a trip to nearby Ronda, we loved cooling off in the pool and relaxing on the terrace with a glass of local wine. The pool was a fantastic extra. We found the apartment very well equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to cook tapas or a full dinner. Our hosts were warm and quick to respond, with lots of useful tips for hikes, restaurants, and hidden gems nearby. The village is peaceful, with friendly locals, good little bars, scenic trails, and views worth stopping for. It was a lovely way to enjoy nature and some quiet while still being comfortable. We can hardly wait to visit again!

We spent a gorgeous weekend here, with village bars and restaurants close by and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The house has what you need, including very comfortable beds with lovely cotton linen. We especially liked the outdoor space for winding down and watching the sunset, and the swimming pool was a great bonus. We’ll come again and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Montejaque.

We made good use of the pool and grassy sunbathing area, and the house was well set up for cooking and cleaning. There were walking and hiking paths nearby, plus we played paddle and went to a local gym. The sunny balcony was lovely in the mornings, while plenty of shade kept the afternoons comfortably cool. All round, a great stay in this gorgeous three-bed house!

The outdoor deck is spacious, with magnificent mountain views, and you can watch birds and animals moving across the rock faces. The three-bedroom setup is great too. The town is lovely to explore on foot, and there are excellent hikes around, including one to Ronda. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing break or as a base for seeing the area.

There’s plenty to do around this beautiful rural village, with great hiking right nearby and a good range of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets for cooking at home. The place had good wifi, lovely cotton sheets, and air-con. We did the lovely 2.5-hour countryside walk to Ronda. Highly recommend.
