We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked again straight away for the following year. It was our first visit to this lovely country hotel, from October 1st to 4th, 2024. The owners run it professionally and really make the guest feel like king, catering to each person's needs. The culinary experience was a delight, with a fantastic wine selection.

Dinner is especially worth recommending, and we also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. Roger and Brigitte were fantastic hosts who took wonderful care of us at this beautiful country hotel. A heartfelt thank you to the Osborne family for the lovely lunch and the interesting visit to their finca.

A few days at this wonderful guesthouse are enough to let the stresses of daily life melt away. I've stayed at Olivetum Colina three times, twice with my family and once on my own, and I love being among the olive groves. Brigitte and Roger make everyone feel welcome and at home. The old olive mill has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are charming, and the food prepared according to the Five Elements is outstanding. The Schläpfers also care deeply about sustainability and the environment.

We've had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, one-of-a-kind oasis run by the Schläpfer family twice already. The warm hospitality, exquisite food, lovingly decorated rooms, atmosphere and views are all truly exceptional. We'd wholeheartedly recommend a holiday or short break among the olive groves at the Schläpfers'!

We still want to return to Olivetum Colina this year, even with many people rethinking their holiday plans in these Corona times. It's a hidden gem, small but perfectly formed. The service is excellent, and they give plenty of help finding sights both nearby and farther away. Seville, Granada and Cordoba are easy enough as excursions. There are cultural experiences and sporting activities too. Or you can simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
