After a cold, foggy mountain hike, we came in hoping for a warm meal and somewhere dry. We were left waiting while the woman served people who arrived after us, then eventually told us there was no room. Since we were freezing, we asked whether we could at least sit inside for hot tea, but she said there was no space for us. So we ended up eating outdoors in the rain. The staff came across as unfriendly and dismissive, and we felt completely unwelcome. A really disappointing experience.

It's a quiet, peaceful spot where you can relax in silence. They have a pool, and it's nice that dinner and breakfast are available too.

The location is the main thing going for it. The price was fair.

Dinner in particular could be a lot better, and the service is slow because it seems there may be just one person handling the hotel. He does a lot, but can't be everywhere, and there isn't a way to call him, so getting help means waiting. We had an issue with one room, though, and were moved to another without any trouble. The rooms themselves aren't bad. The two waitresses were a different matter. I understand they spend a lot of time there, but early in the morning they were sprawled on the sofa in the shared room with the pool table, looking at their phones and seeming not to care that other guests were there. It's a rather peculiar hotel, and I don't think we'll return.
