The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well, but the rooms were dark and had a slightly unpleasant smell. Their interiors also vary from room to room. La Masia Tore sits in beautiful scenery, which makes it a shame that guests can’t use the lovely outdoor terrace. Everyone has to eat in a gloomy dining room instead, missing the chance to sit in the sun. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. There wasn’t much choice, the scrambled eggs were dried out, and several types of sausage looked unappealing. Service was nearly absent, with nobody seeming to check or replenish the buffet.

It’s a nice, quiet place with high-quality food. For the prices, though, the service should be better. The staff were polite enough, but didn’t pay much attention to detail and their technique felt rough.

The Serrano ham was tasty, the fish was good, and the meats were outstanding. Excellent quality throughout. Save room for the homemade Contessa at the end!
