The apartment was basic, though the location was a plus, and generally it was okay. A few things kept it from meeting our expectations: some doors wouldn't close properly, not all the radiators worked, water leaked from the kitchen sink drain, and some dishes had food residue on them. I reported some of these problems to the owner, but they weren't fixed to make the stay more comfortable.

For the price, the apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. The furnishings and kitchenware were what you'd expect. Julián, the owner, was friendly and polite, and came across as a young man with experience in the hotel business. It would be a great choice for a weekend away or New Year's. It won't disappoint.

The place was adequately clean and had the basics covered, including a kitchen and heating, though the price felt a little high for Morella. The town itself is charming and small, with only a few shops, but I thought my expectations had been set too high. You can see everything in a few hours, and I don't think an overnight stay is worthwhile. The restaurants we tried also seemed a bit expensive, and the locals didn't come across as especially friendly or welcoming to tourists, even though tourism is practically the town's livelihood. Still, it's worth visiting in the Valencian Community. For me, Peñíscola is the better choice.
