The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had an amazing time in this spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable apartment, with all the conveniences of home. It’s right in the heart of Mundaka and a wonderful spot for seeing everything on foot. We hope to return someday!

Leaving today felt bittersweet, the sort of feeling you get when you’re walking away from a place where you’ve made wonderful memories. I can honestly say this is the best place my family and I have ever stayed away from home. I wish Google Maps let me give it extra stars. The hosts were friendly and made us feel at home, helping with whatever they could in a warm but respectful way. They even helped us load and unload the car, and were incredibly kind. Parking is scarce in Mundaka, but they offer recently built spaces two minutes’ walk from the building at a bargain price for the town. Drive into the square even if it’s closed and the signs say you can’t, they’ll open it for you. Unload there, then the hosts will guide you, or even accompany you, to your parking spot. The apartments were extremely clean, with every luxury detail you could imagine. The design and decorating were beautifully simple, warm and cozy, just how I’d like to design my own home. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and even the shower started running hot water quickly. Every detail felt just right.

The apartments feel homey, are brand new, and have everything you need. Staff are friendly and very helpful if you don’t speak Spanish. They can even clean your room like at a hotel if you want. Fantastic stay, would absolutely recommend!

Mundaka Surf Camp was totally awesome. The village is snug and cozy. We got into our accommodation earlier than planned and found a beautifully finished, clean, fully equipped flat. Reception helped us find a parking space. I agree with all the other five star reviews, highly recommended if you’re in the Basque Country!
