Even in the heatwave, with temperatures up to 42 degrees Celsius (108 degrees Fahrenheit), our downstairs room stayed cool enough that we slept under the covers. The prices were reasonable, and the owner had good suggestions for things to see nearby. He also makes a real effort, from the warm welcome to the elaborate breakfast buffet. If we come back to Monasterio de Piedra, we'd stay here again.

This peaceful, comfortable country house has one quadruple room and two doubles, making it a good fit for couples or families. The owner lives on site and is incredibly friendly and helpful, probably the best I've come across after years of staying in different houses. There's a spectacular rustic kitchen-dining area, with Wi-Fi and a Smart TV in the kitchen, plus a wine cellar where you can play music, do tastings, and take part in other activities. José and his team provide excellent service, and the location is great for a visit to Piedra Monastery. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well heated in winter. Really, what more could you ask for?

A lovely place I'd happily return to. It's a cozy rural guesthouse with spacious, well-arranged rooms in a restored old house. There's a wine cellar where the owner explains how the wine is made, and you can try his homemade wine. He's attentive and friendly.
