It’s a peaceful spot for unwinding with family or friends, and the price is affordable. You’ll want a rental car. Taxis often seem to have trouble with card payments, so bring cash. There’s a grocery store in Mungia, about 7-10 minutes away by car.
Really comfortable, and the air conditioning works very well too.
We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Casa Rural Txokoetxe, and the hosts communicated with us really well. My wife, the children and I had a lovely few days there. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped, with comfortable bedrooms and shared spaces that felt peaceful. It’s been nicely kept, and the rural surroundings are beautiful if you want to switch off and enjoy nature. The children loved exploring outside while we got a proper chance to rest. Mungia also worked well as a base for outings around the area. A charming, family-friendly place for a country break. We’d happily come back.
Itxaso was the part of the stay I appreciated most. She was lovely, kind and always willing to help. My friend and I were very comfortable, and the room, the views and the multipurpose room were all great. We spent time there playing pool and foosball, and having a quiet chat. Everything was a 10 out of 10 for us. I’d return without hesitation and hope to see you again soon. Cheers!
The house was spotless and surrounded by nature, and the welcome was so warm, something I don’t come across often even though I travel a lot. My partner and I had a dream weekend. Our room was huge, incredibly comfortable and had every luxury detail, even a jacuzzi. The host was lovely and gave us tips on places to eat and things to see nearby. There’s loads of space for a family or group of friends, plus tons of kitchenware. I highly recommend it.
