We stopped here for a late lunch on our way to Estella, and it was just what we needed. The food, coffee, and beer all hit the spot. The manager, who also handled reception and serving, was incredibly kind and helpful.

The place seemed clean, and our waitress was nice. She offered bread with my salad and let us refill our bottles with the cold, clean water set aside for pilgrims. The mixed salad itself was okay, but €12.50 felt steep for a small portion. On the other Camino stops I've visited, they were about €8 and much bigger. It also felt like food prices were inflated because this seemed to be the only place in town to buy something. I've done four Caminos: El Norte, El Portugués Central, and El Inglés were my first three, so I'm familiar with prices along the caminos de Santiago.

We'd already booked somewhere else, so we didn't stay here. But we met magi while passing through, and her energy was so great that we came back for dinner. It turned into one of our best experiences on the Camino. The dinner tasted good and was definitely better than the usual pilgrim fare. Maggie was the real star, though. She was checking people in, dealing with grumpy pilgrims, and getting dinner out all at once. What a woman!

We had a really restful night in this comfortable, friendly hostel. The facilities were great, and I'd recommend it.

I slept really well here. It's a lovely albergue, with lots of care put into the little details. Dinner for pilgrims was a nice soup, then chicken and rice with a big garden salad, no tuna, haha. Magi gave me a warm welcome, calling me into the albergue and offering food and drinks on the house. El jefe handled check-in, showed me to the dormitory, and explained how things worked. Lorca falls between stops, so this hospitable place was a welcome find. I recommend it.
