Grupotel Amapola

We love this place and have come back for a second year. It’s an older hotel, but clean and well cared for, with lovely staff and a great location. The food is pretty good too, with tasty salads and fruit, grilled meat, and lots of fish dishes to suit different tastes.

The evening singers, bingo, and music quizzes were a fun way to end a sunny day, and we loved having plenty of sun and shaded places around the pool. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and clean, especially the balcony. The bar was great, and it was nice to have drinks included in our all-inclusive week. The meals were delicious and had lots of variety. The pancakes were especially good, you have to try them! Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help from the moment we arrived. The reception team was especially kind. When I had a small bug bite near my eye, they quickly brought me ice, which made me feel looked after. We’ve just returned from what was the best vacation we’ve ever had, and we already miss the place. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely come back.

Sara did a great job as the entertainer. We’ve just had a lovely week here, and the hotel was great. The staff were friendly, nice, and helpful. Thanks so much, Sara and Grupotel Amapola.

The nearby sea, shops, and bus stop were convenient, but I’m sorry to say the stay was disappointing. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we spent the first night at another hotel, which doesn’t seem normal. Staff were rude, gave us no explanation, and acted as though this was routine. The food had no taste or variety, and the drinks were the same. We might have overlooked the rest if the staff had been more polite.
