Playa Garden Selection Hotel & Spa

The beach was lovely, the water crystal clear, and our cute room was very clean. The hotel is very child-friendly, so it isn’t exactly quiet, just so nobody is surprised. A few suggestions: some tableware, especially juice glasses, had dried food on it; the Finnish sauna wasn’t as hot as I’d hoped, and its wooden planks were quite worn; and the evening bar queues were long, perhaps more staff would help. Those were small points, though. We had a wonderful stay and loved it.

Edit: They seem to be buying fake reviews. After I posted this, several new five-star reviews appeared from suspicious accounts that had given many hotels the best possible score within a short time. That’s fraudulent behavior, and we’ll never go to any Garden Hotel again. Original review: In my opinion, this isn’t a spa hotel. The area marked “silenco” beside the saunas is supposed to be silent, but it was full of screaming children. The sauna was in bad shape, with black spots on the wood and broken benches. It seems only a matter of time before someone falls through and gets injured. The rooms were spacious, there were some good food options each day, and the location right beside the beach was nice. We don’t recommend it. We left early and switched to a different hotel.

It’s a great family hotel right on the beach. Our room was spacious and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Everything, including the amenities, was spotless, and housekeeping was excellent. Beach towels were provided, and chilled filtered water was literally on tap. The staff make a real difference, always smiling, cheerful and happy to help. We’ll certainly return.

Kids feel safe here, and with everything close by, parents can actually relax. It’s a small hotel with a warm, family feel. Food was fresh and tasty every day, and the activities were fun and full of energy. The evening shows made a great end to the day. A lovely place for families with young children, calm and welcoming, with no rush or crowds and plenty of smiles.
