The rooms are tidy and nice, and the location is right in the city center on a main street. But the noise is extreme. Shouting people, restaurants, music, dancing, cats fighting, birds, you hear it all. I couldn’t get to sleep until 2 am.

For anyone walking the Camino through Galicia, the strong hair dryer here is a real bonus. I was surprised how often it was missing at other places along my trip. The room was a little dated, but it was clean. When I arrived, they noticed I was traveling alone and offered me a queen bed instead of the two-bed room I’d booked. That was excellent service.

The birds can get pretty loud, and the shower is a little small. Still, it’s a very good place to stay, with a good location, friendly staff, and a very clean room.

After a long day on the Camino, this is a great place to stay. My room had a lovely view of the Port of Muxia, and check-in was excellent.
