Parador Costa da Morte

We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was a fantastic stay. The suite was clean and very comfortable, with great views, and the beds and rooms were lovely. Adriana and the rest of the staff were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa and having a treatment. Dinner was nice, and breakfast was very good, with eggs and bacon cooked fresh, sausage, other dishes, and delicious fresh orange juice. The only snag was a wait at reception sometimes because it seemed a little understaffed. A great experience, and I highly recommend the hotel.

I stopped here for lunch while on a tour. The service was great, the food excellent, and the views across the bay were spectacular.

Sitting on the balcony, looking out at the wild sea, felt like paradise. The staff were superb, and the drinks weren't too expensive.

The room felt brand new, with a spectacular view over the landscape and bay. I also liked the garage, which has direct elevator access, and the WiFi was fast and steady. We managed to use the outdoor pool despite the changeable weather, though access to the spa costs extra. Breakfast and restaurant service felt disorganized, and most of the staff there couldn't speak English. Someone else was served our food. Communication was difficult because the service staff spoke neither English nor clear Spanish, and they weren't patient while we tried Spanish or Italian. That kind of disorganization seems typical of a parador to us. Reception, though, was nice and friendly. I like staying at these places because each one feels unique.
