Eurostars Royal Tanau

Breakfast could be a little better, and the room furnishings could use a refresh, but those were minor things. We had a fantastic stay and still had a couple of days left to enjoy. The spa and renovated bathrooms were a lovely addition, and the staff made everything easy, from arranging rides to local restaurants to serving cava after a great day on the slopes. We were just steps from the ski lift at 1700. After staying at Eira last year, we found their current prices exorbitant by comparison. We'll definitely return here.

For skiing Baqueira or the nearby area, it's hard to beat this location, just a one minute walk from the Esquirós chairlift. The room was awesome, the breakfast amazing, and the staff were excellent, right down to arranging a transfer to a restaurant at night. 10/10 ;)

We paid €250 for a horrible meal, just money down the drain. The chicken and burger were raw, the pizza base was raw too, and even the bread hadn't baked properly. Patatas bravas were undercooked, and they had no pasta dishes available. Our main meals came at different times. There were five of us and we all complained. I don't know how this restaurant/hotel keeps a five star record. It felt like an episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

The room felt a little tired and ready for an overhaul, which was the only reason I took off a point. Just minor niggles, nothing that would stop us coming back. The service was quite possibly the best I've ever had anywhere.
