Hostau Era Claverola

The peaceful feel is a big part of why I keep coming back to Era Claverola when I’m in the Aran Valley. It only has 5-6 rooms, all in great shape, and the price is very competitive for what you get. Getting in with a PIN is easy, and there’s parking right next door. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. They make the bed daily, and everything stays fresh and clean. The bathroom has what you need, including a hairdryer, towels, and lovely mandarin shower gel. Breakfast is excellent, especially the croissants. There’s also a supermarket in the same building, which is handy if you need anything.

The supermarket right next door is a great convenience, and we already feel like going back. We had a lovely stay at Era Claverola. Nuria and Jordi are warm people who clearly put a lot of care into everything. It really felt like home, so I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The beds were enough for a couple of nights, though they could be more comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean, and while neither was especially large, they were adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a handy spot in Salardú, about a minute from the parking lot.

I found out about this little hostel through a friend. We’re here for a few days of skiing in Baqueira Beret, only 3 km away, and the location works really well. There’s a friendly atmosphere, and our room was clean and perfectly adequate. The shower was great for unwinding after skiing, and breakfast set us up nicely for a day on the slopes.
