Luderna - Apartamento Val de Ruda A14 Montoliu

We spent a magical Christmas at Hotel Val de Neu. Its charm, ambiance and service were all wonderful, and I can't say enough good things about the place.

The cozy alpine-style interior and first-rate service make this a proper 5 star hotel, with fantastic restaurants, though they are a little expensive. It's right by the cable car up the mountain. For Baqueira, the location, gastronomy and service are the best I've experienced, and the breakfast is outstanding. Highly recommended.

There was a brief mix-up with our room, but it was sorted quickly and we ended up with an upgraded room and free valet parking. The staff were extremely helpful with all kinds of requests, even bringing extra spoons for a mini picnic in our room. We got free sweets in the room and churros after skiing. Breakfast had a wide range, including freshly made crepes and a chocolate fountain. The price also included a ski locker by the lift, and the hire shops coordinate with the hotel so your skis go straight into it. No hassle!

Right beside the ski gondola, Val de Neu has a fantastic location. The hotel is spotless, with modern design and an elegant but cozy feel. Service and luxury are at a very high level, making this an exceptional ski hotel. Highly recommended!
