That porch is lovely, and the garden is splendid. The house itself is beautiful too, and the hostess is very kind. Still, we found it much too dark, dusty, and crowded with things. A lot of the objects feel more suited to a museum than a holiday home, and there’s nowhere to put your belongings without worrying you might break something. The kitchen is also missing a few useful items. With bare walls and furniture, this beautiful house could feel much more practical.

We loved sitting on the porch bench for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea, looking out at the trees, cows, and peaceful countryside. Rosaura is a fantastic host, and the views are breathtaking. It’s a thoughtfully restored house, full of history, with antique wooden furniture, wooden floors and beams, a fireplace, and a clawfoot bathtub. There’s a garden, patio, and parking area, plus all the amenities. Every detail has been considered. Highly recommended.

The garden and gazebo felt like a real luxury. A beautiful country house, and the hostess was so friendly.
