When I’m back in Navarette, I’d return to the Hotel bar. I stopped there during my Camino de Santiago walk in Sepetember 2025 for a copa de vino on the terrace, and enjoyed it. The location was good too.

The back of the hotel is a four-story frontage with a casual bar, a nice spot to unwind over afternoon drinks after a Camino walk. Don’t be put off by the tiny front photo, the hotel is surprisingly large behind it and has a groovy modern interior. The restaurant seemed closed, so we ate at the bar where we’d had our drinks. The food was perfectly fine.

Our room looked over the square and mountains, and it was huge and airy. Breakfast had plenty to eat and drink. The staff were wonderful and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is right on the Camino, near a really amazing church. Loved staying here.

We’ve eaten here twice now and had great food and fabulous service both times. The pork with peppers was especially good. Give the chilled red a try, it was excellent!

After a long day walking the Camino de Santiago, a good bath and a comfortable bed felt like a bit of luxury. The rooms are spacious and clean, and this is another good hotel to stay in along the route. 😊
