Casa Rural El Pinar

It was a fantastic weekend in such peaceful, pleasant surroundings. The house was clean and well kept, and Riofrío Palace was close enough for us to visit. There’s a forest there full of deer. Hector made our arrival easy and gave us excellent service.

The views of the countryside and mountains were so relaxing, with no city noise, just birds and the occasional calf. Campos de Río Frío is a village of about 300 people, and the house sits apart from the other homes, though the road is right nearby. It’s a lovely rustic property with a little stream running through the grounds. Inside, it has a retro feel but has been renovated to cover all our needs. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it’s spacious. The central heating and wood-burning stove in the living room kept it very warm. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate, with all the utensils we needed and more. The barbecue is on the small side, and a larger one with a side table, plus an outdoor picnic area, would be welcome. The owner greeted us so warmly, and the service was impeccable throughout, with nothing to complain about. It’s only 15 minutes from Segovia along a very good road. We’d happily return, and highly recommend it.

Two families spent the long weekend here, and we’re already planning to return. The house has everything it needs, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The owner is lovely and always happy to help. Definitely recommend it! 😃

Héctor and Scherezade, thank you for being so attentive and kind, and for bringing such good energy. The house was very clean, comfortable, and simply but tastefully decorated, with a cozy feel. The village near Segovia is welcoming and quiet. There are lots of places to walk in nature, lovely views, and a pleasant walk to the nearby forest and Riofrío Palace. It’s also perfect for cycling.
