Un Rincón Salmantino

The owner and family are lovely, and it’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy the countryside.

We spent Christmas here and found the house decorated with seasonal lights and decorations. The owners were attentive throughout, helping make our stay easy and telling us about things to do nearby. They greeted us with pastries and cold beers, just what we needed after the journey. It’s a welcoming country house in a lovely setting, in a very quiet village with plenty of routes for walks and driving trips. Everything was spotless, and the large garden gave us plenty of room to park our cars. We’ll definitely return.

We had a really pleasant surprise here. Two couples and four children stayed for five days, and we all felt very comfortable. The house was cared for, welcoming, and had everything we needed. The large garden gave the kids room to play freely, and there was a covered barbecue area where we could have dinner. It’s also close to interesting places, hiking trails, natural swimming spots, and the Portuguese border. A great place to relax and explore the area.

There were three couples and four children in the end, though we’d first planned for two couples and three kids. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and we’re already joking about coming back. Thanks for the kindness, warm hospitality, and all the helpful information. We had a wonderful Easter week. The house felt welcoming, with a garden and picnic area. And the key did turn up, in a pocket of a pair of trousers.
